Start with something simple, even a trick will fulfill the purpose of starting! Learn how your dog thinks and learns by training!

Create a new habit and commit to training your dog every day. Commit a chunk of time that is realistic for you.

Start with 5 minutes if that's all the time you can afford. 

or 

Start with one frustration point if that's a better tactic for you. Want your dog to pull less on walks? Commit to starting your walks with control and focus before you allow the dog out the front door. Once you've achieved that goal, add another goal in increments that work for you and your dog

Start with manners at the food bowl. Commit to having your dog sit politely while you put down their food bowl. If they get up, you just need to pick it up. A few reps and your dog will learn how to have better manners around meal time

Start with a visit to audit classes at your local obedience school. Pick up some tips and try them with your own dog!
